Mrs. Montoya also teaches at Westlake High School, Hill Country Middle School, Westridge Middle School, and Greater Austin Music Academy. She is trained in the Suzuki method, and finds it useful in maintaining structure in beginning- and intermediate-level adults as well. Students work to excel in Region music, orchestra music, and fine-tune their technical skills while progressing in solos across the Suzuki repertoire.

For school-aged students, daily practice is encouraged, with healthy parent encouragement.
